Ran Shabtay is an architect, computational designer, researcher, founder and CEO of Studio Chimera. He leads a multidisciplinary team of architects, computational designers, developers, and fabrication specialists developing custom parametric systems, digital tools, and production workflows. The studio combines design knowledge, code, research, and fabrication to solve complex architectural and spatial challenges.

Studio Chimera operates through a multidisciplinary team working across computational design, software development, research, simulation, and digital fabrication. Different roles come together around each project, allowing design, code, analysis, and production to develop as one integrated process.
